Kimberlee Gee is an attorney licensed by Maryland, Court of Appeals and the Washington, D.C., Court of Appeals. Ms. Gee works as an attorney, in the field of labor and employment law, publishes articles, and engages in pro bono advocacy work on various matters. The term “KGL” is used to represent the company Kimberlee Gee, LLC., doing business as, Kimberlee Gee Legal, separate and apart from her other professional and advocacy interests. The terms “we,” “our” and “us” are used to refer to KGL, are employed out of convenience, and are not intended to suggest a partnership or association with other attorneys. The term “Service” refers to general information provided to permit you to learn more about KLG, our services, our professionals, as well as information about legal outsourcing, legal research and writing, and information about our legal services in general.
By accessing, visiting or viewing the www.kimberleegeelegal.com website (“Site”) and linked web pages containing the www.kimberleegeelegal.com domain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”), including KGL’s Disclaimers and Privacy Policy. Do not access, view, visit, link to, or submit information on this Site if you do not agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Licensing Status
Ms. Gee practices law only where licensed to do so by law, and as permitted by the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 5.5, governing multi-jurisdictional practice, and individual state ethics rules modeled after American Bar Association Model Rule 5.5. To the extent a potential client contacts Ms. Gee seeking legal services in jurisdictions in which she is not permitted by these means or other means to practice law, Ms. Gee shall decline to provide services. Due to the nature of internet access, some individuals may access this Site in jurisdictions where Ms. Gee is not licensed to practice law. Any such access is not intended as an advertising effort or an attempt to establish a systematic and continuous presence in any jurisdiction where she is not permitted to practice law.
Electronic Communications
Visiting this Site or sending emails to KGL or Ms. Gee constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Children under the Age of 13
KGL does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of 13 and does not target its website to children under 13. If you are a minor, you may use this Site only with parental or guardian consent.

You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. KGL content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular, you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. International Users
The Site is controlled, operated and administered by KGL from within the USA. If you access the Site from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the KGL content accessed through this Site in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless KGL for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site or Services, any user postings made by you, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. KGL reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with KGL in asserting any available defenses.
Termination/Access Restriction
KGL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related Services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that under no circumstances shall KGL be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or any other damages whatsoever arising out of your use or performance of this Site, the delay or inability to use the site or related Services, the provision of or failure to provide services or for any information or Services obtained through the site, or otherwise arising out of the use of the site regardless of our negligence, gross negligence, failure of an essential purpose and whether such liability arises in negligence, contract, tort, or any other theory of legal liability. The foregoing applies even if KGL has been advised of the possibility of or could have foreseen the damages. In those states that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for damages, our liability is limited to the fullest possible extent permitted by law. If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the site, or with any of these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the site.
Jurisdiction/Governing Laws/Arbitration
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to rules relating to conflict of laws or forum non convenions. Except with respect to the protection and enforcement of Ms. Gee’s and KGL’s rights, including rights to seek and/or obtain injunctive or equitable relief, any claim, cause of action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved, at the sole election of Ms. Gee or KGL, by mandatory, binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). Any such claim, cause of action or proceeding shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and without resort to any form of class action. The arbitration shall be conducted in Maryland, and the Federal Arbitration Act and no state law concerning arbitration shall apply. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the Site must be commenced within one year after such claim or cause of action arises. The arbitration award shall be final and binding. Any action, or any claim, cause of action or proceeding not subject to arbitration as set forth in this section, shall be filed and adjudicated in a state or Federal Court in Prince George’s County, Maryland and all parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those Courts.
Effect of Headings
The subject headings of the paragraphs and subparagraphs of this Agreement are included for convenience only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of any of its provisions.
Changes to Terms
KGL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Terms under which this Site is offered without notice. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. KGL encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
